Drew Haygood started racing ten years ago in his original hometown of Lawton, OK on a large dirt track in the mini and pro stock series, gaining much dirt track experience. One day watching TNN Motor Madness he saw the Pro Stadium trucks and said "I can build a truck like that." In 1998 Drew and his wife Marla build their first truck, "Ultimate Ride," a 1982 Dodge D50, which the first year took 5th in the Pro Stadium points series with Pace Motor Sports. Two years after moving to Lapeer, they wanted MORE POWER and built their second truck, "Bull Hauler," a 1985 Chevy Silverado in rememberance of Drew's brother Dalton Haygood, 3rd generation truck driver. It didn't take long for them to want EVEN MORE POWER and in 2007 Drew and Marla rolled out "Dream Catcher," the full-blown big daddy of them all, a monster truck!
"Building all of our trucks has been a lot of fun and a lot of hard work, but has been much easier with the support of our family", says Drew "especially our biggest fan, our daughter Erica, who loves traveling to the races."
